"Creating an environment that helps sustain biodiversity is of great importance to my family. Our graded property has been slowly restored over the course of 22 years. It is currently flourishing with Native Plants and trees that attract the birds and insects. Such plants as Brittle Bush, White Sage, Firecracker Penstemon, Creosote, and Desert Willows, is a short of the plants in our Native Ponds and garden areas of our 2.5 acres. Brittle Bush and Firecracker Penstemon are the most attractive to me. I admire their adaptations to the desert environment. They are both drought tolerant and are brightly colored to attract butterflies and hummingbirds."
